We are a group of chatters on the IRC network afternet.org. Many members of our chatroom have known each other for several years, while others are newcomers. We enjoy meeting people from all over the world. Currently we have members from the USA, UK, Europe, and Israel. If you'd like to come and chat with us please click on 'Chat' in the menu.

There are a few rules of conduct and all users should visit afternet.org to read their user policies as well.

1. We do not tolerate abusive or obscene behavior directed towards any of our members. Only 1 warning will be given and then you will be kicked from the chatroom. **

2. Our chatroom is not a dating room. Please do not enter the room and ask 'asl'. If you come to the room with the intention to pick up a date you will be asked to leave.

3. Please ask before sending someone a PM (private message).

 

Global Time Differences

Please be aware of the global time differences. For example, if you live on the east coast of the USA and its 8pm then its going to be 1am (5 hours later) in the UK. This obviously affects the time when chat is more active than at other times. So if you stop by and the room is full of people but quiet...chances are everyone's gone to bed.
